Administrative Aide

The Village is seeking applicants for a full-time Administrative Aide position. This position supports our Management Services/Administrative Departments and will perform a variety of tasks including, greeting the public, answering incoming calls, collecting and processing payments, ordering office supplies, and coordinating community room rentals. The position will be asked to support Utility Billing staff and handle other administrative functions as needed.
Required: An Associate’s Degree or HS Diploma and 1+year of related experience/training; basic keyboarding and math skills; and proficiency with internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
Strongly preferred: Accounting and database software proficiency. Starting salary is $20.77/hr.

Cable Television Operator

The Village is seeking applicants for a part-time Cable Television Operator. This position supports our Administrative Department in performing technical duties and assisting and coordinating functions pertaining to the Village cable television production center and channel. This position will be asked to work evenings and be flexible with their scheduling. Approximately 3-4 hours per week, on average, will be asked of this position. Required: Video/Audio Engineering training and 1+year of related experience. Starting salary is $18.88/hr. Please review the job description for more details.

Police Officer

The Plainfield Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer for the purpose of creating an updated Eligibility List.
