FACADE PROGRAM

This program (revised September 2006) is designed to promote the rehabilitation and restoration of the existing commercial buildings in the downtown by providing matching grants for qualifying exterior building improvements. Matching grant reimbursements are now available for up to $150,000, or its equivalent, per project. Additionally, properties that are designated as a landmark and/or participate in a designated district qualify to participate in both the Facade Improvement Program and the Rehabilitation Grant Program.
